The Lawrenceburg Square has recently seen a lot of renovating. The old awnings have been taken down and fresh paint added. It is wonderful to see the downtown area come to life once more. Pictured are the David Crockett Statue and Gazebo on the south side of the square and the Veteran's monument on the north side. Also pictured is the Thompson Station building.

The Fall months brings a flurry of excitement in Lawrence County. The leaves and scenery are beautiful in the David Crockett State Park. As you drive through, you will see numerous Deer and wild Turkeys. On the Lake, paddle boats amble slowly along, campers and picnickers enjoy the lush foliage and wildlife.

You can enjoy a wonderful Buffet meal at the David Crockett Park Restaurant with a view of the Lake or go hiking on one of the many hiking trails and see where Davy Crockett had his Grist Mill.
